About Us
We are January – a futures consultancy founded by
Carla Moss and Delia Wieser.
Carla brings the lens of culture. A semiotics and cultural-insights specialist with more than a decade of experience in brand strategy and cultural foresight, she helps organizations uncover the deeper meanings behind people’s choices. Her projects include decoding beauty ideals for L’Oréal, re-imagining masculinity for Unilever, and exploring the future of premium mobility for BMW. She has also contributed to cultural-insight studies for Pernod Ricard, Heineken, and Netflix, working with agencies such as Kantar Consulting, Sign Salad, Firefish, TRIPTK and many more.
Delia brings the craft of innovation. For over 15 years, she has guided global organizations and creative teams through foresight and innovation projects that transform uncertainty into opportunity. Formerly Lead Innovation Architect at TrendWatching, she co-developed the widely used Trend-Driven Innovation methodology and has facilitated hundreds of workshops across Europe, North America, and the Middle East.
She has collaborated with over 40 leading clients, including Ford, Telekom Austria Group, LSG SkyChefs, Napapijri, Marriott Hotels, Mastercard, ING & NN Group, Universal Music, and the BBC.
Delia has also co-authored the business book Trend-Driven Innovation (Wiley, 2016) and is the author of Road-Trip To Innovation (TrendONE, 2012).
